Every time you start a new job for a customer, you want to perform the best out of it. If you finish the first contract without any issues, your customer will be satisfied by your quality and service standards, and therefore will probably continue working with you.
This is why minimizing the risk of arising problems is very important, and in order to do this, you must develop a plan. With all the small details and preparations, it is very likely you will miss an important detail which could help you achieve success in your new contract. If you have control over workflows, you will be able to develop a plan and achieve a higher rate of success.
In MAFS, we want to help you achieve success and high performance in your new contract. To do so, you may follow these instructions:
WORKPLACE AND QUALITY STANDARDS
In order to determine if your customer's expectations and cleaning service requirements are met, you must first identify the expectations and quality standards which your customer has in its facilities. To do this, you must think how you are going to measure success and define performance indicators. Make sure you write it all.
SITE RECOGNITION
You must identify any cleaning defiance or reduced spaces in the facilities. The dimensions of the facilities (m2) and inside and outside spaces will help you determine the number and type of machines you will have to use during the process.
You should also note down traffic flow and type of dirt in the facilities, as well as the frequency of spillovers. Once you have taken all the notes you need, you may contact your cleaning equipment supplier so he recommends you the machines which best suit for the job, taking in to account quality standards and site recognition.
NEEDED EQUIPMENT
Quality standards and site recognition will help you in specifying the cleaning equipment which will help you maximize performance and efficiency while cleaning. You must take into account factors such as the types of batteries, noise level, or ecological requirements.
BOOKING OR ORDERING CLEANING EQUIPMENT
Make your order and make a Schedule with your supplier's delivery times so you can be sure you will have the machines ready to work the day you start your contract. You can ask your supplier for financing or rental options.
Make a historical of orderings and delivery's so you have a global vision of the cleaning equipment and you are sure that they will be delivered in time and perfect conditions. Also, make sure you take note of your contact's name and number.
CHECK THE EQUIPMENT
Check and try the machines in order to be sure that they have been delivered in perfect conditions and they work as you expect. Track the tests noting the date, hour and problems that arise. In case of disagreement, contact your supplier as soon as possible.
TRAINING
Make sure your personnel has the qualification needed to use the different machine. If it isn't the case, ask your supplier for his training services. You can also ask for documents and videos about the machines.
SPARE PARTS
If you lack of spare parts during the cleaning process, you will probably incur in downtimes. You can prevent this by making a list of all those elements that suffer wear including their life cycle. Note in this list the prices and contact information for better budget control.
